About IDAP Information Systems

G.R. Inc. maintains two divisions that provide voice messaging systems nationwide. The Information Systems Division was started in 1991 to develop and implement custom voice messaging systems to the education market, private industry and many others. Automated Attendants, Autodialers, Absence Notification Systems, Audio Bulletin Boards, Message Centers, Tip Lines, Service Bureau applications and custom applications are all supported by IDAP Information Systems. Custom applications have been developed for K-12 school districts, elementary, middle and high schools, universities, as well as private industry, the manufacturing industry, and the medical industry.  We are proud to include organizations such as the Alvord Unified School District (Riverside, CA), John Wayne Airport (Orange County, CA), the New York City Department of Finance (Brooklyn, NY), the Better Business Bureau of Illinois (Chicago, IL), and the South Carolina Bar Association (Columbia, SC) as long-time, satisfied customers.

The Institute for Drug and Alcohol Prevention (IDAP) was formed almost 25 years ago with the express purpose of preventing substance abuse through awareness, education and knowledge. Educating by way of recorded health messages on its custom voice response systems was its approach. With an impressive audio library of several hundred titles, and with most messages available in Spanish as well, a wide variety of organizations and agencies implemented custom information programs to educate people of all ages. Over the years the focus of the company has expanded to cover such important issues as mental health, stress, depression, parenting, personal growth, HIV/AIDS, violence, social issues, and more.

Our client list is quite impressive and includes, among others and those mentioned above, Mental Health Associations; the Department of Health in eight states; over 60 Planned Parenthood affiliates and over 300 private health care providers throughout the country.
